I had a gift card from Christmas and decided to buy something today. There wasn’t really a lot to choose from since I could only spend a max of  $20, but I found a few cool things. I eventually settled on MTV’s Nirvana Unplugged in New York, which is great, and a brand new Sid Vicious 45 Chatterbox/My way. Awesome! My brother bought COD 4: Modern Warfare, I couldn’t convince him to buy #2 since a friend told him it wouldn’t make sense to buy the sequel first.

Yesterday was awesome! The Admirals beat the Arrows yesterday with a score of 2-0. It was really boring and there was only one fight. I think I heard that they can only fight if they take their equipment (helmet and gloves) off. I figure that would explain why the majority of the fights were broken up by the ref’s.  After the game Blake Shelton, a country singer, put on a concert. I myself didn’t like it, but my dad likes country and since he had the keys, we had to stay. Blake Shelton did a few cool things, like half way through the concert he played the free credit report dot com theme song. For some reason he addressed himself and the entire audience as rednecks, hillbillies and other southern terms throughout the whole night, and complained about the weather and about how country rednecks are so tough and awesome, and about how he’s cool for drinking beer and getting drunk. I was incredibly annoyed. Anyway, it was fun, and I got dip ‘n’ dots.

Today and Yesterday

Yesterday was weird. I noticed that J.D. Salinger died. I don’t really like books, but he actually wrote one of the only books I liked. I had my fist guitar lesson of this year yesterday and it sucked. At least today I’m going to see the Admirals.

Explodin’ Pigeons!

Pigeons explode if they eat rice. That’s kind of cool…. awesome really. EPA has to ruin everything.

Great Cover by Nirvana

This is the best version of the song, and I’d say one of my top 25 favorite Nirvana songs. Yeah. There aren’t any links in this post.___________________ /
